Wisconsin Wing Summer Encampment

The defining cadet experience!

Day 4: In the Middle

We’ve successfully made it to the middle of the week! Some are excited that Encampment is almost over, and others will be sad to leave new friends. Either way, there is still learning (and a little fun) to be had!

To say that day four was busy would be an understatement. All of the flights were on the move today seeing and experiencing different aspects of Volk Field and Wisconsin Wing Summer Encampment. Monday they were up close and personal with F-16s, Tuesday they learned about the E2-Hawkeye; today they checked out a KC-135 refueler, and the air traffic control tower. In between military air power shows, Squadron 2 & the Cadet Development Course checked out the High Risk Entry Facility.
