Today’s Graduation ceremony marked the beginning of the end of this year’s Wisconsin Wing Summer Encampment. Cadets in all schools were recognized for their progress and were presented with their school certificate. The ceremony was highlighted with a quick tribute to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Donaldson, the WBS Cadet Commander, as this will be her last year at encampment as a cadet. Congratulations C/Lt Col Donaldson on a successful encampment and an amazing cadet career.

Following the graduation ceremony, the Cadet’s hard-work and perseverance was rewarded with an evening picnic and PT games. Tomorrow with the completion of the Pass in Review ceremony, Cadets will have officially Graduated from Encampment.

A little about tomorrow’s crazy day:

The Pass in Review Ceremony will be live-streamed on the Wisconsin Wing Facebook Page. Please plan to tune in right around 11:00 am for the start of the stream. Audio will be difficult to hear as the parade field is large. The live stream will stay on Facebook for later viewing. Photos from Day 7 will be posted to SmugMug within 24 hours of the end of Encampment. Please be patient with our Public Affairs staff. Once photos are posted there will be a final Facebook post with the link to the photo gallery.

Also, let’s give our Public Affairs Team a huge shout-out! Our staff has put on many miles following flights, and helping to capture memories. Thank you to Cadet Captain Feltquate (New Jersey Wing), Cadet First Lieutenant Jacob (Wisconsin Wing – Col R.C. Jaye Memorial Composite Squadron), & Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Maas (Florida Wing – formerly from Wisconsin Wing – Timmerman Composite Squadron).
