Civil Air Patrol is the best place for a young person to jump into a successful career in any field. On Day 4 and throughout the event, our leaders in training have been exposed to countless individual career fields. With classes on topics from American Airpower to military fitness and with instructors from all walks of life, cadets at encampment open doors to success that their peers could not dream of.
Our Wisconsin Basic School cadets opened a door to careers in United States Air Force Security Forces today, being shown the types of training that Volk Field Security Forces uses to be prepared to defend our nation’s bases, assets, and people.
A lucky group of cadets were the eyes in the sky for the encampment today, having the opportunity to take orientation flights in Civil Air Patrol aircraft. These orientation flights open the door for cadets to take advantage of the organization’s resources in aviation like flight academies, the Cadet Wings Program, and more.
Congratulations to our awardees of the day!
