Crafting future aerospace leaders requires unique, engaging activities and hands-on experiences, which this year’s Wisconsin Wing Encampment has been incredibly fortunate to be able to provide.
A friendly C-130 was above Volk Field today, inbound to give our Wisconsin Basic School cadets and cadre the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive a tour of the aircraft. The crew discussed military careers, aircraft systems, and aircraft operations, inspiring cadets to follow in their footsteps.
The Wisconsin Cadet Academy traveled to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to participate in various indoor challenge activities, including team-building exercises, rock climbing, and a high ropes course.
Excellence is the expectation in Wisconsin Wing, and today we recognized those who went above and beyond in pursuit of that excellence. Congratulations to our honor cadets and flights of the day!
