Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is this only for Wisconsin’s encampment? No, this funding can be used for any CAP summer encampment in any wing.
2. Our family has financial challenges but we don’t meet the categories above (SSDI, FoodShare, etc) can we apply? Yes. Any cadet can apply and may receive assistance depending on available funding.
3. Can I talk to someone at Wing about the program? Yes. We can help answer questions, but we have no influence or insight into funding decision. Those decision are made solely by National Headquarters.
4. If we do not receive CEAP funding are there other sources of assistance? Yes. Wisconsin Wing has some funds available, however those funds are only available for Wisconsin’s encampment. To qualify for these funds you must still apply for CEAP. All requests for assistance must go through the CEAP application. Note that Wisconsin Wing assistance does not include funding for uniforms. Also, these funds are only available to Wisconsin Wing cadets.
5. How much will encampment cost? Every encampment has its own tuition fee. At this time we do not know the exact tuition for Wisconsin’s encampment, but expect it to be in the $200-$300 range.
